It’s time for part 7 of the Mega Smash Poll Ultimate results. In this part, we will be looking beyond Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and looking at the franchises future. What better way to start than to look at the future fighters you all want to see added to the roster!
For the basic information about the data in this poll, please read the part 1 article found by clicking here.
Below are all the fighters who fans want to see added to a future Super Smash Bros. title. We asked everyone to vote for three characters, in order of most wanted, and distributed points based on this.
- 1st vote = 3 points
- 2nd vote = 2 points
- 3rd vote = 1 point
We then tallied these up for every fighter and put it into order of most requested to least. In the case that the same character was voted for three times by the same person, only the first vote (3 points) was counted.
In the case that a user voted for a concept (i.e. Lance Fighter in Fire Emblem) or a series instead (i.e. someone from Kirby) this vote was given to the most voted for character that fitted the description.
Below is every fighter from 1st to 592th (and there are a lot of those 592th placers). Due to technical reasons we can’t spoiler tag and separate the results right now, so if you want to know the position of a specific character then please do search that characters name or series by using ctrl+f (or the equivalent shortcut for search for your device).

*hey, uh, i think i overslept. my bad. any chance there’s still a spot for me?
I mean I know this isn’t an official poll or anything but there is a lot I wanna say about many of the wanted fighters listed here but that would take all day lol, so I keep it short.
While I personally would prefer having just Fio individually as a Metal Slug rep in the next Smash game, I hate to admit that having the ‘main’ MS gang as a signle “multiple skins” fighter makes more sense and is realistically possible, considering that the gang all practically plays the same anyway (atleast in the main games last I checked). The Metal Slug gang would most likely have Marco as the ‘default’ skin since he is usually portrayed as the poster guy for the MS franchise.
Also, just from a personal point of view, it would be more accurace and fair to compare the Metal Slug gang to Bowser Jr and the Koopalings instead of Hero because, unlike most of the Dragon Quest heroes, the Metal Slug ‘main’ protagonists have actual personalities and characteristics.
Overall, this is a okay fan poll I guess.
