Tracker_TD Discusses: Sonic Rumors

Lately, there have been a lot of Sonic rumors because of the Sonic news drought. Tracker_TD (Twitter, YouTube), tackles them head on in this discussion video. Tracker_TD discusses rumor reporting, source credibility and more which makes for an interesting discussion!

This is a subject that’s very close to my heart (See Why Sites Shouldn’t Report Every Rumor and Intro to “Leak Busting”). It’s also weird just how similar rumor reporting seems to be in the Sonic community to the Smash community. I’m not familiar enough with the Sonic rumors to comment on the credibility myself, but I always advise people to keep their expectations in check and to Hype Responsibly.
