QubicGames will be bringing the beloved BIT.TRIP series, from Choice Provisions, to the Nintendo Switch. This is what the company has announced in a press release, given to us a little sooner than everybody else. The six original games will be releasing on December 25 for $4.99/€4.99 each. If you purchase one game in the series, the rest will be available for a steep 60% discount.
The BIT.TRIP games, which rushed on to the scene in 2009, follow Commander Video in this journey through life and music. It began with the Pong-esque journey of BEAT with every game afterwards trying to up itself. The whole journey tells a fine story underneath, though you will have search sometimes for its finer meanings. RUNNER is fan favorite around these parts, but FLUX is truly most beautiful one of them all.
Interestingly enough, the challenges introduced in the Wii collection BIT.TRIP COMPLETE will be included with each game. That means that 20 additional mini levels will be included with each them. Likewise, there are three difficulty options as well, allowing newcomers and veterans to have an equal playing field.
In addition to all this music goodness, QubicGames will be releasing two more games on December 26. There is Door Kickers (KillHouse Games), a real-time strategy game that puts you in command of your own SWAT team during tense interventions. You have to plan your approach, choose equipment and coordinate team members to blast your way through objectives. The game will be $11.99/€11.99 with a QubicGames owner discount of 25% available.
Last, but certainly not least, we have DungeonTop (One Up Plus Entertainment). Pitched as a rogue-like deck-building game, it throws in tabletop battles for good measure. Players will pick a hero and side, and delve into the procedurally generated that await them. DungeonTop will set players back $13.99/€13.99. If you purchased any previous QubicGames titles, you will receive a discount of 30%.
