Zenimax has only 48 IP. I know there’s an argument to be made fro “quality over quantity” especially as Master Race companies are concerned. But Zenimax’ lack of creative experimentation in it’s 20 year (in one form or another) history shows all that’s wrong in the industry today as far as I’m concerned.

Admittedly a Bethesda rep wasn’t on my radar until they started announcing games for the Switch. I think with the success of DOOM, and the partnership Nintendo and Bethesda are building it’s definitely possible. If they do decide to add a character from them, I hope it’s Doomguy. He’s been around forever, he’d be an excellent FPS rep, and I think he’d be one of those characters who’d generate a lot of hype with potential to broaden the Smash player base. Not to mention DOOM’s soundtrack would be a welcome addition to the series. Looking forward to seeing what happens.
