Nintendo is releasing a miniature NES with 30 games packed in. So we made a list of 30 realistic* (at least semi-realistic) SNES games, including 3rd Party that could possibly be included if the SNES Mini becomes a thing.
*Games which weren’t localized aren’t likely. Also Rare owned IPs.
3rd Party companies that have games on NES Mini: Capcom, Konami, Namco, Taito, Tecmo.

I was going to question the games that aren’t on the Wii U’s Virtual Console, but then I realized Bubble Bobble and Final Fantasy aren’t there yet either. Speaking of which, Star Fox and Yoshi’s Island have never made it the Virtual Console at all (excluding Super Mario Advance 3). Is it true that the FX chip has something to do with it?
T rated games may not make the cut for marketing reasons (which sadly includes EarthBound now). Parents feeling like they can share these systems with their young kids is too valuable to pass up!
It’s gonna be way tougher coming up with 30 plausible N64 games…
Yeah, it’s really suspicious that Star Fox, Yoshi’s Island and every other Super FX-Chip-Game were never released on the Virtual Console. This is also the reason why I excluded them in my list, since there might be a copyright-issue preventing Nintendo to release any game, who uses the Super FX-technology.
I don’t think I’d be able to come up with a full list, but it’d have to have Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Yoshi’s Island, Super Metroid and Kirby Super Star at least.
All the above, plus the Top Gear racing games trilogy. Just ask permission from Kemco first.
A mini SNES with Top Gear 3000 would be an instant buy for me!
Square Enix also has a game for the NES Mini with Final Fantasy I.
Super Mario World All Stars & World, Fire Emblem Mystery of the Emblem (with Archanea Saga as bonus content)/Genealogy of the Holy War/Thracia 776, Final Fantasy VI, Kirby Super Star, Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart, Donkey Kong Country Trilogy, F-Zero, Mega Man 7, Mega Man X, EarthBound, Super Mario RPG and Super Punch Out.

I’m looking over these lists in wake of recent rumors, and Nirbion’s list is clearly the best. He remembered to include Tetris Attack.
