  1. Sonic 2 was one of the first games I remember playing, and I’ve been an ardent fan of the series ever since (and a very loud defender of it’s… darker days). I think I’ll pass on mentioning my least favorite aspects of the series, I’m sure anything I’d say on that end has been said a dozen times already by someone else.

I’ve said this before, but Sonic Dash is probably my favorite Sonic game, and I’d put Sonic Advance 3 as a runner-up. Sonic Dash just feels exactly like what a Sonic game should be, and Sonic Advance 3 was just pretty unique in terms of platformers. As for spinoffs, I’d say Sonic Chronicle, then Sonic All-Star Racing Transformed as the runner-up. Sonic Chronicle has issues, granted, but it was pretty unique and fun, and I really enjoyed the story. All-Star Racing Transformed is just silly fun all around, though it’s infuriatingly hard to complete the single player stuff.

Favorite level… I can’t say I can think of any levels in particular that I would give that title to, but I guess I’d have to say City Escape.

Music is easy, it’s a tie between His World and Reach For The Stars. I don’t think I need to explain why His World is awesome, but I legitimately only listened to Reach For The Stars like two days in a row when I first heard it, I can’t explain why I like it so much. Also, I’m gonna defend Chronicle here: while I will concede that the general music is weak, the intro is pretty cool.

Favorite character is undeniably Tails, I’ve loved playing him ever since I played Sonic 2. Other characters I like would include Eggman, Blaze, and Cream.

Since I’m making this comment after the Sega announcement, I have the advantage of talking about that. Buuut, there’s another article that this comment would me more appropriate for, so I’ll save it for that.

Oh, and Spazzy? Say that Cream is unnecessary again, and I will hunt you down ;P
